Why Barack Obama is nothing like Dr. Martin Luther King.

The race hustlers, and those who claim to promote Dr. King's dream fail to identify the source of the flag they protest. Why? Because the continued fear of racial hatred is what allows them to continue to exist long after they are no longer seen as relevant by many.
For "thirty pieces of silver" and a seat a the Dem political table, civil rights leaders and black preachers from coast to coast will herd their flocks, load the church vans, and vote for the candidate with the (D) regardless of the issues. Abortion, the homosexual agenda, disregard for the right to life, and campaigning from the pulpit aren't a concern to these religious leaders as long as the "love offering" is paid in cash.
On this day, we celebrate MLK day to honor a man who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom and equality thanks to a President that felt that it was important that we recognize his greatness.

The Problem
Pay Inequity Continues: For every $1.00 earned by a man, the average woman receives only 77 cents, while African American women only get 67 cents and Latinas receive only 57 cents.
Hate Crimes on the Rise: The number of hate crimes increased nearly 8 percent to 7,700 incidents in 2006.
Efforts Continue to Suppress the Vote: A recent study discovered numerous organized efforts to intimidate, mislead and suppress minority voters.
Disparities Continue to Plague Criminal Justice System: African Americans and Hispanics are more than twice as likely as whites to be searched, arrested, or subdued with force when stopped by police. Disparities in drug sentencing laws, like the differential treatment of crack as opposed to powder cocaine, are unfair.

Strengthen Civil Rights Enforcement
Obama will reverse the politicization that has occurred in the Bush Administration's Department of Justice. He will put an end to the ideological litmus tests used to fill positions within the Civil
Civil Rights Division.
Combat Employment Discrimination
Obama will work to overturn the Supreme Court's recent ruling that curtails racial minorities' and women's ability to challenge pay discrimination. Obama will also pass the Fair Pay Act to ensure that women receive equal pay for equal work.
Expand Hate Crimes Statutes
Obama will strengthen federal hate crimes legislation and reinvigorate enforcement at the Department of Justice's Criminal Section.
End Deceptive Voting Practices
Obama will sign into law his legislation that establishes harsh penalties for those who have engaged in voter fraud and provides voters who have been misinformed with accurate and full information so they can vote.
End Racial Profiling
Obama will ban racial profiling by federal law enforcement agencies and provide federal incentives to state and local police departments to prohibit the practice.
Reduce Crime Recidivism by Providing Ex-Offender Support
Obama will provide job training, substance abuse and mental health counseling to ex-offenders, so that they are successfully re-integrated into society. Obama will also create a prison-to-work incentive program to improve ex-offender employment and job retention rates.
Eliminate Sentencing Disparities
Obama believes the disparity between sentencing crack and powder-based cocaine is wrong and should be completely eliminated.

ANON… Interesting political advertisement. Did you write and research that yourself, or do you believe it just because Obama said that it is true? (See "End Deceptive Voting Practices" below)
I am sorry to break the bad news to you, but your comments are misdirected. Most of the extremely active participants on this blog can see through the Democratic party ruse. Most intelligent people don’t need a nanny state, sugar daddy, socialist leader to help resolve every issue we encounter in our daily lives. We also realize that nothing you mentioned is within the scope of Article 2, Section 2 of the US Constitution.
I have a solutions for every issue you addressed. But unlike Obama’s solution, my solutions require personal effort, so therefore the children of the DEM party that are begging for adult supervision and their mammas baby sugar daddy would never vote for me. If you read over your posting, I don’t see any issue that I couldn’t resolve with common sense and without government intervention.
Here are a few solutions to make you think. I know that you will only just make excuses about why you can’t follow my solution, but it doesn’t hurt to hope you reach maturity before you reach retirement and seek additional government support.
-Employer doesn’t pay enough money? – find another job.
-Hate crimes? – you are ignorant. ALL CRIMES ARE HATE CRIMES. Avoid it, stay out of high crime neighborhoods, and be prepared to shoot back. Furthermore, I am most likely to become a victim of Black-on-Black crime. Why isn’t that a Hate crime?
-Voter suppression? – they wouldn’t be so easy to suppress if your voters weren’t ignorant.. I guess they really suppress the black vote when they make it rain on Election day.
-Disparities in the criminal justice system? – stay out to the criminal justice system.
-End Deceptive Voting Practices – stop being lazy and get your information from sources other than the MSM and candidates own website. The MSM has their favorites and want to influence your vote, and the candidate will lie to get elected. The ignorant are easily deceived and deceptive practices target the stupid. Your posting is proof that it works. How much mental effort did it take for you to cut and paste you previous comments? See what I mean?
-End Racial Profiling – stop dressing, and acting like the hoodlums who have a high tendency to commit crimes. Wear a belt, pull up your pants, and only where a “white-t” under you shirt and tie. If you don’t act like a criminal, more than likely you won’t get treated like one.
-Eliminate Sentencing Disparities – Ask yourself, “What the hell was he doing with the pound cake in his hand?” (See “Disparities in the criminal justice system” above.)
-Expand use of drug courts - Users are losers, and losers are users Just say no to drugs. (See “Disparities in the criminal justice system” above.)
This is just a few ideas off the top of my head. If you try really hard, you may be able to come up with a few ideas for yourself without the help of me or the POTUS.
Here are some questions to see how smart you are. Currently, the biggest obstacle standing in the way of Obama is Hillary. If Obama is going to do all of the things you mentioned for civil rights, black people, etc, then why are so many civil rights leaders supporting Hillary? If Hillary wins the Dem nomination, what does that say about Dem party and their desire to see Obama address the issues you mentioned? If Hillary wins, will you still be voting for Hillary?

When dealing with Hate Crime (remember: ALL crimes are hate crimes).... "God created man, Sam Colt made them equal"
A shotgun is a most effective tool for home defense. I love my Mossberg 500. Outside the home, let your local laws be your guide. If you live in a Dem utopia like DC, Chicago, or NY, then dial 911 and pray.
This should help you through the most critical of the problems you listed (protection against criminals). I don't mind helping, but the POTUS has too many other priorities (War on Terror, Economy, etc) to be concerned about the trivial issues that a responsible adult could address for themselves.
I don't mean to sound rude, but I am just being honest. If Obama were completely honest, he would tell you the exact same thing. Instead, he would rather act like he cares and act like he would have the power to solve your problems just to pimp you for your vote. All politicians use "Deceptive Voting Practices." Even the ones that look like us and claim to have you best interest at heart.
